Funding for PAS

We are very grateful to The JRSST Charitable Trust and other charitable trusts (who wish to remain anonymous) for their generous support for our Independent Parliamentary Inquiry into Stalking Law Reform and our ‘Out of the Shadows’ Road Show awareness programme which will continue throughout 2012.

In the Spring of 2011 Laura Richards, an advisor to PAS, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Protection Against Stalking, raising over £5000 for our campaign funds. Thank you to everyone who sponsored Laura’s fantastic achievement.

In the summer of 2011 a special Birthday event in memory of Clare Bernal, organised by her mother and PAS Trustee Tricia Bernal, raised over £1000. Special thanks to everyone who joined us at Eridge Village Hall in East Sussex for a most enjoyable evening and to those who contributed so generously towards our charity, and to KGA who contributed perfumes, toiletries and fine champagne for the Grand Draw.

A brave bunch of twenty KGA employees signed up for the London to Brighton cycle ride in June 2011 to support Protection Against Stalking – a mere 54 miles on a teenie, weenie saddle, with some jolly big hills to climb! Jane Francis, Accounts Manager for La praire and colleague Ranj Sahota (Lancome) from the Beatties ‘House of Fraser ‘ store in Wolverhampton undertook a 24 hour fast , and Jane, together with Hayley Barns (Elizabeth Arden) cycled 20miles from Wolverhampton to Bridgenorth, raising a fantastic £327.

Caroline Feltham from Kenneth Green Associates in Weybridge has sent us a cheque for £250, a gift from the Epsom Area MG Owners Club, a group who support many charities throughout the year by putting on displays of members classic MG cars at fetes and other events. We are very grateful to Caroline and her MG Club friends for their generous support for PAS.
